He looks like a troll, I can't believe this guy is still alive and running an NFL team.

How about the guy next to Al? Someone has a serious case of Man-Love I think.

He is actually a pretty pleasant guy. I ran into him in Beverly Hills at a great local diner, Nate and Al's. He was waiting at the door right beside us, dressed in a......you guessed it.......Raiders outfit. The kind you always see him in, pants, shirts, jacket. I said hello to him and shook his hand. Had a quick chat about his impact on the NFL, especially the merger back in the day, as well as his coaching experience. A lot less conceited person than you would expect. While I think as of late he doesn't realize the harm he is doing to his team, the guy loves football and the Raiders, that much was apparent. He was also happy to talk to everybody. I guess your opinion of people gets skewed if you have met them.

He must have been trying to be like the "raider" in the logo.

If I'm Lane, I do what I need to in order to get out of there - without quitting so I still get my money. Of course, don't lose games - but sure - call out Davis mildly. The guy does deserve it - wanting to can his new coach virtually right after he stepped in the door.
I have little doubt Lane will be just fine and would have a job rather quickly. I think he's one of the best young coaches out there.

That picture looks like something out of a movie. Wow.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. -

As a lifelong Raiders fan my utopia is Al Davis stepping down (soon) and then Howie Long and John Madden buy the franchise. "Just win Baby!!!"

At least Madden would have someone that would play him in the movie, should he resurrect the Raiders. -

I'm just glad Nebraska didn't go the Monty Kiffin route, we would be dealing with Lane for a long time...
