Cubs in playoffs

Who would you rather see the Cubs face first round?

Philly or LA?

Ive been back and forth thinking about this for a long time. I'll just be excited when the Cubs are officially in.

Cubs win NL Central, Dodgers win NL West, Phillies win NL East.

Brewers win Wild Card.

Cubs vs. Dodgers and Phillies vs. Brewers

Cubs vs. Phillies in NLCS and I'm a happy man.

I can get on board with that. I don't like a scenario where the Cubs have to play the Mets and the Phillies to get in at all.

However, I don't see the Brewers making it in. I think today may have been the final nail in the coffin. My guess is that it will be

E - Phillies
C - Cubs
W - Dodgers
WC - Mets

1. Cubs vs. Mets
2. Cubs vs Phillies/Dodgers.

I don't like that scenario near as much. But, I still like the odds of having homefield advantage throughout the NL playoffs. Although, they've struggled at home a little bit lately...

The Dodgers seem to be the one team that would give you guys the most trouble as they are playing right now, and the way the pitching is staked up. I would love to be the ones to end the dream again for the Cubbies.

Mets would have to be the first team anyone would want to play. Their bullpen is terrible. Anytime you have someone the last place team almost released as your closer, you know you are in bad shape... Their starting pitching isn't much better.

After that, you gotta go Phillies, they have a decent bullpen, but no real scary starters behind Hamels. Does Moyer scare you?

Dodgers can match up pretty well pitching, have a decent bullpen, and most of all, Kent is hurt so he can't screw things up in the clubhouse...
