WOW!
The cubs just looked unenthusiastic... I mean unbelievable... Is now the time to question whether or not we start a guy who has NEVER started a postseason game for game 1? Also, do we revisit the pecking order in the bullpen? Our hitting just looked anemic tonight. Lou better get them to pull their head out and I mean quick... unbelievable....

Did they lose or something?

Dempster can't throw strikes. He looked like his old closer self.

Re: WOW!
yeah, this is almost unbearable to watch.
My big question is...why the hell is Kosucke playing? He is abysmal the 2nd half of the season.

I think the Cubs pitching staff bet the over....

We just suck right now. We need to show up tomorrow night. Or this will be another Cubs beat down. I'm so tired of cheering for teams that let me down... the Cubs... the Vikings... the Cyclones... for the love of god, give me a WINNER!

Re: WOW!
Tomorrow I predict a Big Z big implosion, followed by another awful offensive showing for Harden's match, just to make sure that even IF he pitches lights out, it won't matter.
Another first round sweep? Man I hope I'm wrong, sheesh.

Re: WOW!
This one is on the coaches. I have no idea how they leave Dempster in there after walk #7?!?! Sweet Lou had it in his head that he was going to have his starters go deep into the games and instead of using common sense and pulling Dempster after, lets say walk #5, he fails to adjust his stategy and look what happens. -
Cub Fan Losers
Not saying that they (you) all are, but the handful that booed at the end of the game should have their fanhood/tickets/lifetime membership revoked--and be forced to sit at home when/if the Cubs come back to win the series. The rest of their life.
Cub fans are, in my experience, great fans, these folks should be booted.

I kind of agree. With as many as Dempster was walking, Lou probably should've had somebody up way earlier than he did. Probably Marquis. And should've made the switch before he walked them loaded.
It was obvious early that he wasn't throwing his A game.
Then again, our power lineup wasn't exactly awe-inspiring tonight either.
