Even Warren Sapp is chiming in.

ESPN - Sapp says Kiffin treated unfairly, blames Davis for Raiders' mess - NFL

he even advises people not to go to Oakland. what a mess!

"These are my new shoes. They're good shoes. They won't make you rich like me, they won't make you rebound like me, they definitely won't make you handsome like me. They'll only make you have shoes like me. That's it." - Charles Barkley

Is it just me or is Davis going crazy? He is now picking a fight with the Pats. I am not saying they didn't bend the rules when going after Moss, but he is starting to sound like the sun is getting to him.

Sapp must have been on Showtime's Inside the NFL when he said those things...

wow, nice. i always thought that Sapp was a lot of talk and not that much action, his words are pretty convincing. I have to agree with him. Al Davis may have once been a great football mind, but those days are gone. In my opinion, Lane Kiffin has a ton of potential, and you have to give credit to Al for taking a chance on him. He did the same thing with Gruden. Without the Raiders, neither of these guys would have become head coaches so quickly. But, beyond that, you really have to wonder if he is thinking clearly, or if he's just so egomaniacal that he cannot help himself from meddling. I feel bad for the fans and players of that organization. There's been lots of wasted talent over the years.

Did anyone see the bit about Shanny saying Al Davis must have like Kiffin better because he got to work like 20 more days then Shanny even though Shanny had 3 or so more wins. Man I can wait til all the ex-raider coaches just start ganging up on Davis.

So basically what you're saying is:

"The Oakland Raiders: the place where great young minds go to get themselves fired early in their promising careers only to make a name for themselves someplace else..."
