Managers don't have that much impact on a game while it is being played. The best approach is to send your team out there and let them do their thing. Guys who try to micro manage every situation don't have much success or last long in baseball. Torre seems to be doing OK and he looks like he is way past his bedtime. I swear he looked like he had nodded off more than once when the camera zoomed in on him.

true true.. i am just not liking how there is no emotion. everyone looks very "deer in the headlights" esque.. thought maybe lou could do some yellin to get the team gellin lol

okay.. here is how i seem a very very very small chance of getting it back to chicago for a 5th game. first off we have harden who is unbelievable and lilly is on fire (if we get to game 4). the bats seemed to come alive at the end even though it was meaningless, but still that could get us going a little. biggest i think it WILL help going on the road and getting away from the fans with huge expectations and pressure... now there is no pressure, no booing fans, and just playing baseball.

i know its highly unlikely but i gotta keep faith i suppose

yep. i dont understand why lou didnt have ward pinch hit for him in the 9th. fukudome has been horrible, he cant hit a breaking pitch.

i really hope we can start DeRosa in RF if he is healthy enough, and have fontenot at 2B. if not i think we should give Pie a shot in RF, or maybe ward altough hes not a good defender.

but im saying there is not 45,000 angry fans booing ****-dome and they can just go out and do their thing.... harden will have a big game. the bats got going at the end. all i can hope for is a game 3 win. one game at a time
