I know, famous last words... Torre said before the series that he planned on pitching Lowe in game 4. But, i am sure everything is subject to change...

And if he can't go, there's both Maddux and Kershaw. Maddux for his experience and smarts, Kershaw for his stuff - but he's only 20.
This series is not over.

This series is not over. If it were me, I would go Maddux for three then Kershaw for three and pen it the rest of the way... But I am a "maverick" like that . Anything to save Lowe for game one against the Phillies, I mean the other NLDS champ...

On the other hand, it's looking like the Phillies might sweep. If Lowe has to go game 5 (and wins), the Phillies will be rested and will start with the rotation they want. The Dodgers will likely have to go with Billingsley and Kuroda to start that series, the bullpen will be taxed, and Lowe will pitch twice at the most.
I think he's going with Lowe.
