mplscyclone... No one is disputing the fact that ATL and GB aren't tough... However, you never responded to the fact that you chalked a W for the Viks against ATL... but wouldn't do the same for CHI.

Nothing wrong with this broadcast, the more Vikings air time the better. Just wish CBS would stop showing the Chiefs.

Right... But you see, I have DishNetwork... and I'm not going to spend $300 something, plus another $100 something to get it in HD.

I doubt that this will ever happen, but it is possible for the OTA HD channels to broadcast two HD streams simultaneously. I think they'd both have to be 720p, but FOX is 720p anyway. Maybe one day, the FOX and CBS affiliates could broadcast two games at a time.

The NFL package folks would probably never let that happen, and the affiliates probably don't want to take the empty radar display down for a couple of hours on their secondary channels, but I can still dream...

That's on you, you've got the ability to watch any game you want every Sunday. I don't have to worry what channel the Vikings are on. Not on Fox, here we come 707 or whatever.

I do hate that they didn't tell me I was going to have to pay $100 extra for HD.

Yeah... It would be bad for DirecTV, but very good for the local stations. So, maybe someday.

Right... I had DirecTV, and the Sunday ticket for about 4 years... When they started this superfan BS I told them to fly a kite.

After week one I was wondering were the Heck my HD channels went. That's when my brother-in-law informed me. Not cool. But i do get to watch the Vikings and he is a Bills fan so he gets to piggy back on their games.

The Vikes can stop the run. I think Chi's defense can be exposed as they are old. If you can stop the run, you can beat ATL

Also, the Vikes play ATL at the end of the season. I was writing from the impression that the Vikes would continue to improve as the season went on.

I also thought that with the Bears, you cannot have a QB throw 2 picks a game and win consistentley. Those turnovers are going to catch up with Orton.

I think Chicago CAN beat ATL, but I was saying it would be a tough game; both teams are similarly built. Most in this forum were dismissing ATL as being a tough game. That's all.

Can someone explain how the local affiliate choosese the worst possible game with local ties to show and possible the worst game of the weekend in the whole NFL, when they could have picked what is possible the Best game of the NFL weekend and one that also has local ties, there choice puts me at a loss of words!!!!!
