I think it's crap that regardless if he put in the highest bid the owners and Selig would deny him ownership. The guy is exactly what baseball needs to shake up some of the "good old boy" ownership practices going on where most of them are in it for the money regardless how poor their teams play sometimes. The Pirates are a good example, they built a brand new stadium possibly one of the nicest in baseball with the promise to fans they'd increase payroll and field a competitive team and they are still playing cheap and at the bottom of the NL Central.
If Cuban doesn't get the Cubs I hope the Ricketts family does.
