Just curious if any bars in Ames were going to have UFC 91 on... Wouldn't mind sticking around to watch Couture vs. Lesnar...

That will be a great fight. I think Lesner takes it though I would not be shocked if Coutour beat hime.

Im going to be watching it with a group of friends. this one should be a good one!
is see Lesnar using the same ground and pound style he did against heath herring... if he can get coture to the ground its over. he out weighs coture by like 40-45 lbs, and its not just weight, its raw muscle

i think couture takes this one just based on experience .... i was not impressed with lesner watching his herring fight ..... first off herring isn't too great anyways and second there were multiple times when lesner had him down and did nothing but lay on him and punch .... any smart fighter would have mounted and try to look for a submission which i see as the advantage to couture as hes seasoned and smarter ...

So nobody knows anywhere that is getting the fight? No wonder Ames is such a crappy college town...

Old Chicago maybe? I think that ours up here does them.

Lesnar may be the toughest guy at the BBQ, but he's a long way from being a skilled mixed martial artist. Ask Kimbo slice about how that works out.
I hope Randy destroys this poser. Keep the WWE tools out of the UFC.

No Ames locations on the list but it shows BWW, Twisted Parrot, Billy Joes and Champps in Des Moines.
Twisted Parrot is sort of the self styled MMA bar watch in Des Moines. A lot of the local area fighters sometimes watch the PPVs there, although Jeremy Stephens is fighting so some of them might be in Vegas to watch live.
And I could see Brock pinning Randy down for most of the fight and doing some one armed ground and pound for the majority of the fight and winning a decision but more likely I see Randy winning this.
He is too skilled and experienced, plus his Greco Roman clinch is perfected for MMA by now. I see Randy with a Rear Naked Choke in the 3rd.

Brock will win by knockout in the 3rd round. Brock is too big, too strong, too fast, and has gotten better in every fight, even though he's only had 3. He is too skilled. Randy is obviously no slouch himself but it's time for Brock to begin his reign as champion.

I suggested this with the bar i work at once. Only problem is since it's a commercial veiwing of the fight it cost a whole lot more then if you were to stay home and watch it. Heard the number, cause i said i would buy it that night ha riiight, bout crapped myself.

On Spike right now they are showing the best UFC knockouts and they just showed Justin Eilers being put to sleep by Brandon Vera via that viscous head kick.

I was talking to a local bar a while back about it also and they said something about having to pay a per person fee at capacity, even if the bar only had 20 people there they had to pay as if the place would be full.
