Vikings Need to Make the switch back to t-jack?

I think the Yds/G is a little misleading since alot of his games played were as backups. He also went to the Pro Bowl in 1996, not bad for a career scrub.

Gus's stats are a little misleading. Your comparisons between himand T-jack is not quite apples to apples as there is no indication as to how many games gus came in as a backup, I'm not saying T-Jack is the answer for the Vikings I just know Gus isn't either. I will say that T-Jack has gotten a rotten deal by an arrogant coach who traded up in the draft to get him. Thrown into the fray about 2 years too early, and then thrown under the bus when the same coach starts feeling the heat. My biggest worry is the Chilii will do just enough to keep his job. Only the Chargers and Cowboys have done less with more talent then the Vikings this year.

Tough call here, but Gus has won some games this year, but has also thrown some costly picks at crucial times. Neither is very good, but Gus is the guy for now. I hope we make a serious upgrade at the QB position for next season. Still don't know why we didn't sign Leftwich when he was available this past off-season.
