Judge blocks suspensions of Vikings' Williamses - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

It sounds pretty complicated...and could mess up the whole drug program the NFL has....

As a Bears fan, no one would like to see these two miss the rest of the season more than me, but it really sounds like they didn't know the banned substance was in the suppliment they took. It wasn't even llisted on the label.

If anybody doesn't think that these guys didn't know that the substance was in the supplement then they need to crawl out from under the rock. I am not saying that these guys are drug users, but the substance is a known masking agent and with the kind of money players make they can go to great links to find supplements that have the masking agents they need. These guys are idiots - The NFL will eventually uphold the suspension and then when they do they will have to miss playoff games because of suspensions. Just take the suspensions now so you can play in the playoffs.

Yeah I agree with you, I have heard on radio stations up here that the test in question took place during the preseason and they are just getting around to bringing it up. Seems odd that the league would wait this long if there wasnt something goofy going on.

I thought that the league has already said that the suspensions will not apply to the playoffs. If things get delayed, they will carry over to next year.
