Wow - check out Sabres Goalie who gets his jugular sliced open by a skater's blade. Of course Joe Theisman's broken leg... not one mention of Napoleon McCallum? That is the worst injury I have ever seen. By far worse than Carson Palmer or Willis McGahee

Of course, the visions of Palmer's knee going out always make me shiver.

Napoleon McCallum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
McCallum suffered a complete hyperextension of his left knee, almost to a right angle. He suffered a ruptured artery in his left knee, and tore three ligaments, tore the calf and hamstring from the bone, and suffered nerve damage in the knee.
http://www.superfans.net/public/nflb...=n;read=104417 Today McCallum runs his own company, Digital Pro Graphics, in Las Vegas. Digital Pro Graphics produces signs, murals, and vehicle wraps for buses, malls, and casinos, among other venues. This holiday season, the CEO will watch his alma mater go to a bowl game from his family's comfortable home in Henderson, Nev. -

You folks need to skip to pic #14 to see Alabama's receiver's broken leg. It's worse than Theismann's. I'm going to have nightmares.
Did Ray Allen really have his eyeball hanging out?

I remember the Draveky one - one of the greatest comebacks in sports quickly becomes one of its greatest tragedies.
There's one I'm surprised didn't make it - it graced the ISU computer network the entire time I was there. A soccer player goes in for a sliding tackle, misses the ball, and snaps the other player's leg. Half the leg flopped, and I nearly puked.
Saw something similar watching WCW one time. Sid Vicious jumped from the top rope, landed on his feet the wrong way, and it snapped his leg. His leg flopped. There are a lot of things that are fake in wrestling - that injury wasn't one of them.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

My dad used to be a volunteer firefighter and they would have water fights with the hoses sometimes. He said it was not uncommon for the water pressure to pop an eye out if it hit you just above the cheek bone. I asked him what they would do...
"Just pop it back in and keep going."

Did Ray Allen really have his eyeball hanging out? Actually, it was Allan Ray. Not Ray Allen...
