Its for pitchers that threw at least 500 fastballs. I think Wakefield may throw like 100 actual fastballs all year.

Zito blows! and I think that maddux would be the hardest person to catch bullpen for because he has so much dang movement on evey pitch

But Maddux can probly tell you exactly where to put the glove and you wouldn't have to move.

The one I will never understand is Moyer. He doesn't have any movement on the ball and really doesn't have that great of command, but still gets outs...

I read a story about Maddox pitching with his eyes closed....he missed the glove on the first try, but got it on the second. Amazing.

Ain't that the truth. In high school, I would hit well against the pitchers that threw hard, same with the whole team, but when a slow pitcher was on the mound, everyone, including me would be way to antsy to hit and couldn't get very good contact on the ball
