Re: Fastest and Slowest Pitchers in MLB
I thought this was a thread about taking time between pitches, not actual pitch speed.
I was all ready to come in here ranting about the A's pitchers... -
Re: Fastest and Slowest Pitchers in MLB
How nasty must your stuff be to top our your fastball in the low 80's and be good in MLB?
wow
I would LOVE to catch a bullpen for Zito, Maddux, Glavine, Moyer

No mention of Tim Wakefield and his 38mph fastball?

I would LOVE to catch a bullpen for Zito, Maddux, Glavine, Moyer Zito blows! and I think that maddux would be the hardest person to catch bullpen for because he has so much dang movement on evey pitch

Re: Fastest and Slowest Pitchers in MLB
The one I will never understand is Moyer. He doesn't have any movement on the ball and really doesn't have that great of command, but still gets outs...

Re: Fastest and Slowest Pitchers in MLB
I read a story about Maddox pitching with his eyes closed....he missed the glove on the first try, but got it on the second. Amazing.
No mention of Farnsworth?

No mention of Farnsworth? Farnsworth hasn't really thrown all that hard the last few years... Wonder why Follow me on Twitter at twitter.com/MarkHanrahan20 Check out my blog http://markhanrahan.com and tune into "Extra Innings" Thursdays at 6pm on 1460kxno -

In high school, I would hit well against the pitchers that threw hard, same with the whole team, but when a slow pitcher was on the mound, everyone, including me would be way to antsy to hit and couldn't get very good contact on the ball
