Despite not wining a World Series in a 100 years, my bet is a Cub thread will still get 2 or 3 times as many hits as those other two. Why would I start a thread on the White Sox when I'm discussing Milton Bradley? If you'd like to discuss Milton Bradley, please do.
Congratulations on the attendance trophy. Iowa fans agree with you.
If you do want to talk attendance, though, I suppose we could compare the number of fans at the World Series parade?

Actually I like the White Sox, it's just some of the fans.
Ozzie's interesting and I like his spunk.
How good are they really going to be this year?

With the return on the Swisher and Vazquez trades, it looks like they are looking at 2010 and beyond.

Re: Cubs finally sign Milton Bradley
The Cubs and Yankees will FAIL epicly despite their multi-million dollar contracts. Money does not buy World Series Championships!!
The St. Louis Cardinals.. 2006 World Series CHAMPIONS

How good are they really going to be this year? No idea to be honest. They can't be done with moves...they just can't, cause that'd mean Jerry Owens in CF and I'd die a little inside.
It all comes down to the pitching. Buehrle will be solid, and I feel good about Danks, but Floyd is a question mark, even after a 17 win season. The back end of the rotation is a huge question mark. As of now, two of Jeff Marquez (R), Clayton Richard (L) and Aaron Poreda (L) would fill the back end. I'd love to see Clayton in the pen as the last guy.....he showed some grit against the Rays.
Our lineup is getting old, but Thome and Konerko really underperformed as well. If I could go into next year with a lineup of my choosing, it'd be:
SS Lillibridge
C Pierzynski
LF Quentin
RF Dye
DH Thome
1B Konerko
2B Ramirez
3B Fields
CF Anderson
Though I don't like having AJ in the two hole.
Depending on the Central, we'll win between 70 and 95 games.....so yeah...no clue...

Congratulations on the signing of a board game...
Now go sign Coco Crisp so I can taunt you all for signing a breakfast cereal... Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

The Cubs are still a DL-All-Star team. cubbies are set in pitching dude! Dempster, Zambrano, Harden, Lilly, Marshall.. then Smardzija, Marmol, Gregg, Cotts, Gaudin, Guzman, Vizcaino, and Wuertz

They dropped some dead weight in Howry, added someone not special in Vizcaino, and downgraded from Wood to Gregg.
Why did they go after Peavy harder than any other team?

Because the Cubs were the only team that he would drop his no-trade clause for. -

Don't even get me started on Cotts or Vizcaino. Cotts had one good year, and we couldn't wait to get Viz out of Chicago. Originally Posted by cycloneman003 good joke. they top out at 85 games With that lineup, probably. I don't think they are done.

Smadzija still needs at least another half a year in AAA.
