Really good signing for the Cubs. Chemistry issues aside, that guy can hit. It's unlikely he'll duplicate 2008's success, but there's no reason to think he won't have a good year.
The only place he's played with a similar market size in LA, and that didn't really bode well for him. For the Cubs' sake, hopefully it works out better.

If he stays healthy and puts up better numbers than Fukudome...I'll be happy. Hopefully Reed Johnson can stay healthy too...the less Fukudome the better!
They need a guy that isn't scared to speak his mind once in awhile. That was part of their problem last year was too many nice guys in the clubhouse which may have lead to them becoming too laid back at times and content with the status quo.

The problem is his mind is a little crazy. Bob Brenly just better be careful what he says, or Milton will come after him. During the game.
Happy to see the bat, not so happy that the guy will be in the clubhouse all year. Maybe they can get him his own room. I have heard some seriously weird stuff about this guy over the years. Maybe he just wasn't in the right place and Chicago will work out well for him.
