Does Kurt Warner Make It...
into the Pro Football Hall of Fame? And if he does, will he be a first ballot inductee?
I say yes, he's a 3-time Pro Bowler, 2-time first-team All-Pro and a Super Bowl champ/MVP.
Not to mention he has a pretty damn good shot at making the Super Bowl this year.
Dude just never quits.

Re: Does Kurt Warner Make It...
I have honestly never been a big fan of his. Maybe it's because he played a huge part of knocking my Eagles out in the NFC championship game in 2002. And I got sick of all of the hype he got throughout that whole time period, and his time period with the Rams. And that feeling will only grow stronger if he knocks the Eagles out again next week (if they can get past the Giants tomorrow).
All of that being said, it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to call him a first ballot inductee. He hasn't had that long of a career, but he's done more in a short amount of time than nearly any QB in NFL history. He's got the numbers and the accolades that make him a no brainer inductee...

Re: Does Kurt Warner Make It...
If he wins the Super Bowl again can you keep him out? Its too bad he had those rough years where he didnt get a chance after the 2nd Super Bowl.

If he makes the Super Bowl this year it will help his case a lot.

Re: Does Kurt Warner Make It...
You also have to remember all the stats in the Arena Football League as well. Not sure about first year on the ballot but i am sure he will get in. Which is good because I have like 3 of his autographs.

Re: Does Kurt Warner Make It...
He definitely is a HOF and after winning 2 playoff games with the Cardinals he should be a first ballot guy now.

Re: Does Kurt Warner Make It...
I think he makes the HOF but not on his first ballot. The guy averages 262 yards a game. He has only played 3 seasons where he has played all 16 games. four of his seasons he has played single digit games. I would say that he is one of the most productive QBs out there for the amount of time he has played. He is 37 and has 11 years of experience with only 10 games played.

Probably the Nobel Prize as well.

Re: Does Kurt Warner Make It...
How about Trent Dilfet, Brad Johnson, Doug Williams? They have also won the Super Bowl
My answer is no. He had a great stretch for a few years, but for a good portion of his career he was a backup. I don't think he sustained the great years long enough to be a Hall of Famer

To Todd Blythe and his current sitution, remember Kurt was sacking groceries at Hy-Vee in CF when he was given a break.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Does Kurt Warner Make It...
I think if he makes the Super Bowl this year and has another productive year or two, he makes it. It is the hall of "fame" as he definitely has his place in history. If it ends now he is marginal.

as long as they keep his goofy wife away from the podium

Re: Does Kurt Warner Make It...
he makes it, not first ballot unless he makes the superbowl again.
