Wow... just wow. There are only 2 MLB players on the Netherlands.

Marmol looked terrible.

Bert deserves a tremendous amount of credit for what happened. Their pitching has been outstanding.

from what i know the netherlands has a slew of minor league players. they dont have name recognition (yet) but they have "players".

The majority of the players on the Netherlands team are guys that have already been released from minor league teams and out of 'organized' baseball, so they are not really up and comers...

How demoralizing is this loss to the MLB players on the DR team?

Can they just put this past them and go to spring training?

I doubt it... If I am a Cubs fan (which I kinda am) I am a little worried about Marmol. Things like this in a big pressure situation can have a lingering effect...
