Re: Who Will Be The First Manager Fired?
Ron Washington, by the break.

Re: Who Will Be The First Manager Fired?
None of the above -- Joe Girardi -- New York Yankees. The team is going to get off to a slow start despite the size of their ungodly payroll; and Girardi and Steinbrenner are both hot heads. All-in-all not a good combination of events.

Bochy ya, the Nats got rid of their GM and I think he was more the problem than Acta... Russell, well you can't make chicken salad out of chicken crap...

Re: Who Will Be The First Manager Fired?
Have to go with Cooper from the Astros. Ownership group is too much "what have you done for me lately".

Re: Who Will Be The First Manager Fired?
Joe Girardi. They always start slow, and now with A-Rod on the bench, they need someone to step up. I expect him to have a warm seat under him when I go see the Yankees/Royals in KC in April.
He didn't get them into the playoffs last year so I'm guessing he has a short leash.

Re: Who Will Be The First Manager Fired?
Gibbons for Toronto was fired last year.....
Cito Gaston is the manager again

Re: Who Will Be The First Manager Fired?
Ron Washington by the end of May.

Re: Who Will Be The First Manager Fired?
Technically, the answer is Bobby Cox. He was fired by the Braves in 1981. He then returned to the Braves in 1986.

Re: Who Will Be The First Manager Fired?
The Mets will struggle again this year.

Re: Who Will Be The First Manager Fired?
The Sox could win 55 games and Ozzie won't be fired. The higher ups love him.
