I read it as "Mach D Fart" - which sounds both painful and awesome.
re: Sporting News Mock Draft
Yeah I think the title needs to be changes unfortuantly I can't do that
Re: Sporting News Mock Draft
Title edited, although reluctantly, since it was pretty funny.
Re: Sporting News Mock Draft
Why thank you. Maybe I should check spelling before I post
Re: Sporting News Mock Draft
Some other picks that are interesting they have the Bills taking Pettigrew from okie St with the 11th pick, the Pack taking Chris Wells at 9, the Vikings taking Britton from Arizona instead of taking oher from Ole Miss. Tyson Jackson a player most have going around pick 15-20 they have him going 48. Hakeem Nicks a wr from North Carolina most mock drafts having him late in rd 1 they have him going 56
Re: Sporting News Mock Draft
By the way they have Tyrone McKenzie going in the 3rd rd to the Bills and Shone Green to Philly in the 2nd rd

don't read into a MOCK DRAFT, cause that is all it is Mock, one persons opinion

Now I know this is a joke. The Pack need two OT's, a DT, a DE, and a CB. After signing Ryan Grant to that big deal and converting to a 3-4, one of those positions needs to be their pick. Jenkins I could see. Raji or Orakpo, even Oher if all the other OT's are gone.
Beanie Wells? Even though it's Ted Thompson, I don't see it. He'd be much more likely to trade down into the mid-teens or early twenties and get another draft pick to take a RB.

I'm likely in the minority on the topic of Ted Thompson, but I like how he's gone about building the team and believe last season to have been an anomaly. Mock drafts reflect a sportswriter's (or fans) opinion on team needs. As TT doesn't tip his hand at all as regards personnel issues, it's near impossible to determine which way he'll go. This draft appears to be weak in the areas of DT & CB, which leads me to agree with you that TT will trade down (because Raji & Jenkins might not be worthy of a #9 pick).
One thing I've learned over the past three drafts with Thompson is to expect the unexpected. A Beanie Wells selection would be unexpected and I laud the Sporting News writer for going a different direction that EVERYBODY else is going....
Re: Sporting News Mock Draft
Anyone thinking that Freeman and Maclin may not make the first round?
Re: Sporting News Mock Draft
Freeman might not if he gets past Tampa but I think Maclin is almost guaranteed to be a top 10 pick.
