Did you know that Dusty played with Hank Aaron?
So to answer your question, I would say the Reds if it wasn't the Cubs/Cards. But the Cubs are going to win it.

Maybe this will get something....is it me or should Lou switch D Lee and Ramirez in the lineup? I just dont understand how you can explain taking away at bats from our best source of power and clutch hitting in A-Ram

The Reds will be good in 1 or 2 years if they can hold that pitching staff together....but Dusty's running things over there and we all know what he did to Wood and Prior in '03. Prior stills comes to wrigley in the off-season to find where his arm landed after it flew off in mid-pitch.

I can't imagine the difference is that big, numbers wise.
I would agree that Lee doesn't belong in the 3-hole, but where do you put him?
However, I can see Lou moving Ramirez back to clean-up with CAMB behind him, balance be damned.

I put Lee 5th and Ramirez 3rd....Lee hit into 27 DP's last year, and his batting totals have declined every year since his monster '05. Ramirez is hitting his prime...and contrary to some he doesnt strike out all that much for a power hitter (Dunn)

With that, I'm hitting the hay. I have 2 alarm clocks that go off at 6 (or 430, you know, whenever), and then I got some yard work to do in the morning before it starts to rain.

I'm out too...I'm off to the parade in the morning. Keep the rain away!

Re: Crazy Cardinals fan
wow. crazy is sooooo bitter over this loss. get over it. the cubs have the better rotation and a deeper hitting lineup. it will take a miracle for the cards to win the division. cubs will win it by 10-ish. that simple. soto, ramirez, bradley have all been hurt in the early going, and harden/z/dempster havent been on top of their game yet.
its the cubs division. live with it.
