It's a whole different story when there are two guys to deal with. Harvin may or may not prove to be an impact player, but he probably has the best chance of becoming one of anybody that was available to the Vikings.

When Minnesota was on the clock, is Harvin who you were hoping for? Or are you just saying that you understand the choice?

i could see Minnesota trading up to take Britton now, or possibly Loadholt. Either would be a great solution at right tackle.

    Enlightening, yes. Surprising, no.

Interesting that the Pac 10 has 3 picks since they're all from the same school. That means USC has had as many players drafted in the top 25 as the entire Big Ten conference.
Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

I like the Percy Harvin pick! I agree we need a RT and a center, but sometimes you gotta go with the explosive difference-makers in the NFL, especially when you play in a place like the dome. One of the ESPN guys said Harvin had the most explosive, big-play potential in the draft. Remember that A Peterson (a.k.a. the Purple Jesus) was considered a risk because of injuries and now most think he's the best RB in the NFL. And Randy Moss turned out pretty good even tho he didn't always make the best decisions in his personal life. O K almost never made good decisions, Ha. I think Harvin is the perfect slot receiver to go with Berrian. Also this whole offense could turn our man Sage into the hottest QB in the league!!

Moneyball author Michael Lewis wrote the book Blindside on Oher, I believe. It's a weird pick to think about: drafting Harvin, who failed the drug test before the combine, instead of a guy like Oher.

I agree. Denver's draft has been ********. McDaniels keeps making mistake after mistake. You take Orakpo end of story. If your going to take a RB it should have been Beanie Wells. Denver could have got the two guys I wanted the whole time in Orakpo and Malaluga. Man it's a frustrating time to be a Bronco fan.

I love the panel ripping the Raiders for taking that safety from Ohio. Kiper had him as the 40th best safety in the draft and a most likely priority free agent.

    AHHHHHH BEARS ADFAJKDSFKLADSF

william moore was on the board still and they didnt take him.. wtf

I can understand not taking a WR if you dont want Massaquoi there.

Will Moore was one of the better safeties in the draft besides ellison. I cant believe he even went that far.
