Hobbs on First Take
Pretty interesting interview. He's also graduating from ISU on May 9th in like graphics animation or something. Apparently he also wanted to be an animator for Disney.

Ellis hates ISU; just ask all the whiny babies who complain about his intro...

Ellis came back several times to talk with the team before the games the year after he graduated. The OSU game in particular I was there when Hobbs gave a motivational talk before the game and we came out and stunk it up in the first half and at half time McCarney was ****** and said something like "E. Hobbs comes back, one of the great Cyclones, and you go out there and play like THIS, lots of swearing"...can't remember the rest. Anyway, we came back, played hard, and won the game.

Maybe I needed to put the pirate in there? Maybe the sarcasm didn't show enough?
Congrats to E III on getting his degree.

I ran into Ellis several times in the Design Library. Cool dude...had style. Also very funny and nice to talk to. Glad to hear about his degree. He always seemed enthusiastic about school.

I must say I am a big fan of this trade, if for no other reason than now there are no cyclones on the patriots. Thus I can root fully against them now.
Cyclone: 1st, Jayhawk: 2nd, Hawkeye? Never! -
Re: Hobbs on First Take
I love when Ellis called it "the up and coming Iowa State University." We proved him a liar.

Yes he has said Iowa State, and the up and coming Iowa State University, as well as saying his high school. I love getting some ISU rep on Monday, and Sunday, nights as much as the next guy...but the fact that he said his high school once or twice, has really escalated to the point that 'Ellis hates ISU' is ridiculous. I actually think its cool that he doesn't forget his roots and mentioned his high school as well.
