I just saw the video of this for the first time. Definitely a foul on Artest, definitely should have been a flagrant on Kobe. Not that the NBA is big on rules and whatnot so it's not a surprise, add in that it was Kobe and the odds of that being called are somewhere around nil.

I for one would like to see Artest take one for the proverbial team and light Kobe up with an elbow to the dome in game 3.

Scola is a ***** plain and simple. He was getting into it with Lamar Odom the whole game and deserved to get his *** lit up. Artest needs to quit being a baby and realize that its the playoffs and it gonna get physical. Fisher will be suspended, but that really doesnt hurt LA because we have Brown and Farmar. Also i fully expect Kobe to drop about 45 on Artest next game to show him whats up. Lakers in 6 games

I also dislike Scola and Artest. I don't think Fisher should have been suspended since he was already kicked out of last nights game, looking forward to game three tommorrow night, lakers in 6

And, no, Scola did not deserve to have his "*** lit up." Turn your channel to Versus if you want to watch hockey.

Even if he deserved something, that hit was really bad. I'm not classifying it as Rudy T's punch to the face years ago, but it was a direct elbow aimed for the head, and with falling backward he could have seriously gotten hurt.

ummm yeah. if you are going to run your mouth the whole game like Scola did to Odom, Walton, etc then you deserve it. i have no problem with it AT ALL. i dont care that fisher is probably going to get suspended, it put that ***** in is place and lit fire under the lakers IMO

Kobe ran his mouth and elbowed a player in the neck. Did he deserve to get decked?

Fisher has been suspended for Game 3, by the way.

Does anyone else have a problem with Kobe constantly yelling at Battier (I didn't even see Battier provoking this in any way) how he can't guard him, he can't stop him?
It's true what Kobe is saying, but do you really need to voice it in such immature manner. It's like you are a 10 year old kid that scored on his buddy, and now you are rubbing it in. There is no one as cocky as Kobe. It's so overboard that it's ridiculous.
