As a Vikings fan, Thank God!

I will miss the drama and intrigue he brought to the table. Dammit, now we have to focus on the game aspect of football instead.

Really? The loss of a potential 40+ yr old QB with injury issues in his throwing arm that alienated most of his locker room last year enough to chuck the season of the team that arguably the best RB in the league?

I think this is more of a loss for the media wanting some more Mississippi soap-opera action during the summer.

Good for Sage?

Maybe Childress said he'd have to compete(gasp) for the starting job.

Good for the Vikings, AND good for Sage. I don't think most Vikings fans realize this isn't 2002 Favre, or even 2007 Favre. He's not the same QB he was, and it's time to move on. Maybe Randall Cunningham is ready to play again. :-)

I wish Favre would just go away. I know he has plenty of records already, but it seems to me he's trying for one more. "Most times to come out of retirement."

Seriously, I could not care less one way or another, other than the fact that for years it's been this big media circus, "Is Bret coming back? Will he retire?" And now that's turned into "Will he come out of retirement?" I just get tired of hearing about it. Make up your damn mind Favre.

Hey, you know what was hilarious? Watching Tavaris Jackson try to throw the ball more than five yards last year. Their lack of a passing game was comical.

When they got behind last year, they lost.
