cubs / cards blackout

I got home last night to watch the end of the game and both ESPN and Comcast Sports were both blacked out. I live in Cedar Rapids, anyone else have that problem?

I have never understood blackouts, well at least a blackout in a state that is not affiliated with a prof. team.

Oh C'mon, why can't you just hop in the car and take the few hour drive to see the game on a Wednesday night?

I can understand the blackout if you lived in or around St. Louis, but anything else is just stupid. We can't even get the game on MLBTV. What the hell is that all about??

MLB needs to amend their blackout policies, as they are mostly ridiculous. For example, I cannot buy MLB.tv for the Twins because MLB tells me they are in my market, yet there are zero twins games on tv where I live.
