Lebron relies completely on his athleticism and size to get into the paint and as his these things start to falter around 2016 it will be interesting to see how he lengthens his dominance.
Everyone relies on athleticism at that age. I always think of Karl Malone. When he was young, he took the ball the rim often with tremendous authority. Yet when he got older, he became a really great jump shooter and was a great player really late in his career as well.

Lebron isn't even the best player to wear his number let alone...

Re: LeBron's game winning shot.
That shot was sick! I screamed for a minute straight.
Re: LeBron's game winning shot.
I am not an NBA fan, but I find myself watching the playoffs this year...compelling stuff.
I was explaining to my wife last night as we watched the final couple of minutes who LeBron was and how he has a chance to be the NBA's version of Tiger Woods v. Jack Nicholas (MJ) and there he goes and makes that shot.
It was awesome....

Well, after the ball is in the air, there's nothing the coach can do about it.

I think he was probably referring to before the ball was in the air.
Re: LeBron's game winning shot.
There was great defense on lebron on that play. I don't even know how he got that shot off, but i'm pretty sure that he's the only player in the league who could've made that. It was good coaching, it was just an unlucky break for the magic.
Re: LeBron's game winning shot.
No it wasn't good coaching. Why have Lewis who's 6'10" not face guarding Williams who was 6'2" and make the pass go left or right not stright? It was a heck of a shot and other than Kobe im not sure anyone else could have made it but it was poor coaching not face guarding the inbounder

Rashard Lewis is 6'10" ish. Mo Willliams is 6'2" ish. Put Rashard tight on Mo inbounding the ball, and that becomes a lot tougher play. Pavlovic was way out by half court, and Pietrus followed him out there. It was a very good shot, but let's not pretend like it was earth shattering. He made a shot over a guy who was 3 inches taller than him.
Did anyone see the Sports Center segment about the shot about 20 minutes ago? They were talking about how historical it was and had Tim Kirkjian and Barry Melrose give their take on it to try to show it was so big it transcended basketball.
