Cardinals in the drivers seat. No reason for them to do anything.

I'm actually happy that someone finally booted Rosenhaus to the curb. I have no respect for that man.

TO should have done this years ago. The last thing he needs is another person feeding his gigantic ego.

He sounds more & more like a real life Rod Tidwell

"Show me the money Jerry" When he does the break dancing in the endzone that Rod did, I say pay him.

Re: Boldin Releases Agent
Looks like he may go with Condon. The Cards and him have a good relationship so maybe something will get done and we can quit hearing about this for a while

Re: Boldin Releases Agent
I really wish the Dolphins would make a play for Boldin. We really need a WR.

That was diehard in all aspects for what he did.
I'm just surprised on how quickly 3-4 year players expect to get a "return" on their services. Of course you also don't see too many "vets" compared to the past. The Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders, Lawerence Taylor, etc. It's all about youth anymore and everyone seems to expect a payout only after a few years of service.

On one hand, he is under contract, and so technically he is bound to the team. His pay is exactly what he signed up for when he signed the contract.
On the other hand, his contract is worth exactly zilch as far as the league/team is concerned. It can be terminated without reason at any time. It is definitely in the player's best interest to get as much as he can, as soon as he can, because he is always just one injury or poor season away from having his contract terminated.
In my opinion, the NFL needs to start guaranteeing contracts. Maybe not to the level of the NBA, because that leads to guys with huge contracts riding the pine. But perhaps they could just guarantee a portion of each contract. Not sure if that would work, but I think something should change.

Re: Boldin Releases Agent
I'm not sure, but has it been made public what Boldin even wants? Maybe, jsut maybe he isn't a greedy ***** and the issue is more that the Cards aren't willing to budge at all and are trying to take advantage of the current contract and Boldin services.
The I would have to say good for Boldin and shame on the Cards. Of course, look what they did to E.James?
