Factor in he's just mashing the ball harder than you or I can along with that, and it doesn't shock me that it makes a different sound.

how about that oppo homer to left center! Kids got some power...and i dont care what kind of bat he uses. The mechanics are there and that will help him tremendously.
The main problem with people that showed great power with aluminum is that they dont have the mechanics to continue it with wood.
If this kid fails, it will be all mental and not physical.

Call me in 5 years and we'll see how good he is. There are great baseball players drafted every year, and not many have success in the majors, let alone make the team for more than a partial year or so.

It definately matters what number you wear. There is a reason the numbers 1,2*,3,4,5,7,8,9,10 are all retired to the greatest players of all time.
