16 year old baseball phenom on cover of SI...

A friend sent me some video link a couple of weeks ago. I heard Verducci on Dan Patrick discussing the SI cover story he's doing on the kid.

I don't usually put much stock in baseball phenom, as it can change in an instant, but this kid is the real deal. At 16 I was lucky to be included in the year book. Couldn't imagine the cover of SI.

I think he would look great in a cubs uniform, but that would mean they would have to suck terribly, and i dont want that....i guess its a give or take situation.

I haven't watched all of the video. The article that is linked in the initial post has his coach claiming he hit a 570 foot home run.

"Las Vegas coach Sam Thomas shared a story with Verducci of Harper belting a 570-foot home run in a game. Oh, yeah, that was last year. When he was 15."
