Let's throw in Miles and Patton as well:biggrin:

I liked getting rid of Marquis. The signing of Bradley I understood. But trading DeRosa i was confused and then not to offer arbitration to Wood ticked me off because they could have gotten a draft pick for him if he'd have signed elsewhere. The Miles signing was a joke. Not a great offseason but then again the Cubs are being sold and we don't know what was ordered to hendry about the situation and contracts.
HAHAHA! Did Bradley really just do that...
Nice job Bradley...way to pay attention.
In case any of you missed it, he just tossed a live ball into the stands, he didn't know how many outs there were. Twins got another run.
10 mill a year, you think you could at least figure that out.
That was amazing...I hope he does that more often
I know the guy would have scored, should have written that a little better.
He has a chance to make up for it right now!
Adam Dunn would have been a MUCH better signing. Heck keeping DeRosa would have been even smarter and it would have not only saved money but left a spot for Hoffpauier to play RF when A-Ram went down and DeRo would have gone from RF to 3B. What sucks is the Cubs are on the hook for 2 more years at $10 mil a year which is pretty untradable so best case is to hope he can finally stay healthy and get the bat going.
I'm starting to worry about Fukudome now too. He's in a funk right now and it was about the All-Star break last year too he struggled at the plate the rest of the year too. 0-3 with 3K so far today.
This game could be a turning point for Bradley. He's missed a couple of plays that probably an average MLB outfielder would've turned into an out, and he made a boneheaded defensive move. This is the first time fans have been able to say his defense has definitely hurt the team. Until Bradley picks up his play, he's going to be booed mercilessly.
Cubs lineup just looks terrible right now too, check out the BA's for today:

There is no way this current team wins a playoffs series if they even get in at all right now which I'm starting to wonder. They HAVE to make a big trade for a bat if they are serious about contending this year and the bullpen needs at least 1 or 2 solid guys that can hold a lead. The rotation is it's strength and adding Peavy would not solve any of their problems right now.
Hill has been just fine I think. Blanco would have cost more and for his age is not worth the money he would want. Plus who would have thought that Geo would struggle as much as he has too? Last year he was probably one of the most consistent hitters on the team.
