As a life long Packers fan this makes my blood boil.

On one hand..if you can play at that level and still want to super...but on the other...dude...the Vikes? Seriously? Do you know how much bulls**t I'm going to have to listen to from my Aunt?

I figure Favre will shatter like glass around game 3 or so, and Sage will ride in and save the day for the Vikes. Watching the Packer faithful go into full meltdown is worth the price of admission

There is no way that Sage beats him out. Even if he is better in camp, Favre will be #1.

You can say that, but aside from his injury last year he was a top ten QB caliber.

I don't think this is so bad for Sage. He and TJ might be able to learn a little something from Favre. I'm not sure what, but maybe there is something there. Kind of depends on how Favre reacts I guess to the two of them.

I have no confidence that Favre will last too long into the season. The Vikings offensive line is pretty good, but I think they are going to miss Birk a lot more than they are letting on. Just not sure how good his protection will be. But then, he has what is probably the best backfield he has ever had, so who knows?

I am a little concerned about how the rest of the team looks at this. I think that will depend a lot on how Favre comes across to them too. If he walks in like he is the saviour of the team, I don't think that will go over too well with the other veterans.

It will be a circus. No doubt. ESPN and others will see to that. At least I know there will be plenty of Vikings coverage here on the west coast this year.
