Here are my other favorites
1) Rosenblatt Stadium
2) Dodger Stadium (Chavez Ravine)
3) Fenway Park
4) Isotopes Park
Oh, you silly Cubs fans. Your stadium is a dump and is in desperate need of renovation, yet you cling to it's 'history' as an excuse. Once stuff starts falling on people's heads (a la the Towers), maybe you'll admit it.
1. New Busch
2. Old Busch
3. Great American Ballpark
4. Kauffman Stadium
5. Coors Field
6. Progressive Field
7. US Cellular
8. Riverfront Stadium
Worst: Wrigley Field
I gotta go with Fenway Park and Wrigley Field. My god, Babe Ruth and practically every other baseball legend has played in both of them.
In my opinion, Old Yankee Stadium is #1, and it's not even close. New Yankee Stadium will never touch it, and chances are no stadium ever touches it.
I think most of the stadiums in the MLB are really great now. I have not been to too many of them, but they are surely much better than the crap stadiums we used to have like the dual sport stadiums of Cincy, Pitt, San Diego, San Fran, etc.
I think the Giants stadium in San Fran is the best stadium in the bigs. But like I said, I think most of them are great now. I think the only really crappy stadium in the MLB is Dolphin Stadium.
I like the Cell about 10x more since a lot of it has changed. Neighborhood could still be better, but we got some awesome red hots close to the stadium last time we were there.
Dykstra was not happy about it at all. Needless to say when there is a crazed drunken fan screaming "Lenny" over and over from the basket, it can get annoying. I think I may have asked him if I was as drunk as he was when he crashed his car. Good times.
