I am not 100% sure why there is was a wide public perception that he was a leading candidate, but I am guessing the videos in the links have something to do with it.

I'd like to see the Bulls give him a look. After losing Ben Gordon they are a little thin at guard right now and he'd be a nice energy guy off the bench.

I read somewhere that 50% of the players who make one year of seniority in MLB never make it to 2 years. I don't know if the same stats apply in the the NBA and NFL, but it wouldn't surprise me.
