UFL (New football league)
Anyone here excited for the UFL?
It will be interesting to see how well they perform. It seems like they are looking at why a lot of other leagues failed and are trying to actually put together a legitimate pro league. It would be a nice compliment to the NFL imo.

Re: UFL (New football league)
If it has less commercials and more allowing of celebrations I might be intrigued, but I doubt it.

Re: UFL (New football league)
They did change some rules allowing for TD celebrations. Also as a side note they don't have a "tuck rule" its an automatic fumble in this league. At least there are recognizable players in the league so far. Yea they may be washed up but at least you can watch someone you know

Re: UFL (New football league)
i hope it stays it can be like AAA ball in baseball. I think the NFL should get involved some how with it. Most young players play in it maybe a few aging stars play in it. I can see it staying for awhile. I just wish they were in towns that didnt already have NFL teams in it.

The Uffal is on a non-stop flight to the center of the sports universe. They have four teams already, and its not even September yet. The games will be on blockbuster TV networks like Versus and HDNET, in between Deer Hunting or shows where girls in bikini's run around on the beach. 2009 is going to go down in history as The Year It All Changed in Pro Football. The NFL is going to fade into oblivion after November, what've they done for anyone lately anyway. Did anyone see the Hall of Fame Game today? IT WAS WEAK!!!!!! The NFL is the NO FUN LEAGUE! The owners only care about money, the players are greedy steroid users. The Uffal is gonna bring the game back the way it should be, with innovative rule changes and tons of fun. Check out the groundbreaking nwe rule on grounding the football: Intentional grounding - A quarterback is allowed to intentionally ground the ball anywhere behind the line of scrimmage if he is under pressure.
Set your calenders now, the entire schedule is ready: October 8 - S.F.-Las Vegas (Versus, 9pm) October 10 - N.Y.-Florida (HDNet, 7pm) October 14 - Florida-Las Vegas (Versus, 9pm) October 17 - N.Y.-S.F. (HDNet, 9pm) October 22 - S.F.-Florida (Versus, 7pm) October 29 - S.F.-N.Y. (Versus, 7pm) October 30 - Las Vegas-Florida (HDNet, 7pm) November 4 - Las Vegas-N.Y. (Versus, 7pm) November 12 - Las Vegas-S.F. (Versus, 9pm) November 14 - Florida-N.Y. (HDNet, 7pm) November 19 - Florida-S.F. (Versus, 9pm) November 20 - N.Y.-Las Vegas (HDNet, 9pm) November 27 - Championship (Versus, 3pm)
The Las Vegas franchise already has a name, the Locomotives. What a great name for a team from Las Vegas. This whole thing can't miss. No way.

Re: UFL (New football league)
it would be cool to have a minor league system to the NFL like AAA Baseball is for the MLB.
But knowing all of these other football leagues.....it is probably going to fail.

Re: UFL (New football league)
Where do they have rosters for this? I don't see anything on their site.
41-51 Record in CF Mafia. The most games played and wins by any player in Cyclone Fanatic History. Yes, I'm a nerd. -

Don't confuse hope for a plan.
