Adding Toomer in the off season was huge too.

Ashley Lelie is only an improvement if I was the previous WR.

how many receptions? he's been on the "ready to break out list" for years - he just never does.

on a side note Ashley Lelie is the toughest name ever.

Cones_jer beat me to it- he has to be tough with a name like that. The 1st preseason game was pretty ugly by the chiefs, hopefully will get better with new coach.

It should be an improvement but not much of one. They have Bowe, and then a bunch of average guys.

Over their WR core last year it's probably an improvement. It was Bowe then a bunch of guys that wouldn't be the 4th or 5th WR on most teams.

After Gonzalez who is gone and Bowe look how pathetic the receivers were:

Mark Bradley: 30 catches 380 yards, 3 TD
Jamaal Charles: 27/272/1
Devard Darling: 17/247/1
Only 2 other guys had 10+ catches after that which were LJ and Kolby Smith.

Toomer: 48/580/4 and Engram: 47/489/0 will be provide a boost since they'll likely be 2 of the top 3 receivers with Bowe this year. Lelie is low risk for a #4 or #5 WR.
