    Re: Brett Favre Goat

I'm confused.......was she going to sacrifice the Brett Favre goat to bring good luck for the Vikings, or bad? I need to brush up on my goat sacrificing protocol.

Did this goat always want to be purple and gold, or did it change it's mind?

    Re: Brett Favre Goat

there are a suprising number of people that eat goat I'm finding out.

The paint and the leaving it bound in a trunk is pretty ****** up, but the idea of it being butchered should not be a big deal. They are actually called "meat goats" verses the smaller "milk goats".

    Re: Brett Favre Goat

Obviously this was an attempted stunt gone wrong.

It may have started funny, but when you tie up a live animal and leave it in your trunk it loses all the humor.

This. She was going to slaughter it soon anyways. From what I understand, goat is a pretty tasty meat, and good for you. It wasn't being tortured. Did she put it in pain by painting it purple and gold and shaving a #4 into it?

I've ridden in the trunk plenty in my life. You can breathe just fine.

Tying its legs and stuffing it in a trunk isn't torture?

It's a food animal. Pretty calm compared to branding, let alone the ultimate slaughtering.

Really? I love meat. I understand what a food animal is, and what happens to it.

I'm pretty sure that they aren't tied around the legs and stuffed in a trunk... Let alone spray painted.

If you can't see that this is cruel then you are a sick person.

As you said in your last post, cruel yes...torture, probably not so much. If someone painted you, tied you up, and stuffed you in a trunk would you consider yourself tortured? Probably not because you haven't really inflected any physical pain. Instead you're probably rather uncomfortable, extremly mad, and emotionally hurt by it all, but I don't think you've been tortured.

Also I'm not supporting the actions of anyone. Cruelity to animals is obviously wrong and unjustified. Torture to animals is even worse.
