    Interesting. This is one of the reasons I felt this was a bad move by the Vikings.

    I want to know which player on the Vikings could use the word "schism" in a sentence. I'm betting it was one of the lineman that picked it up from when Matt Birk was there - he went to Harvard.

    As a Vikes fan I saw this happening after a few games anyway, so I can't say I am shocked by this. I still think it was a terrible idea to bring him to the Vikes, and I think he is going to show that I was right. My only hope is that Sage will be able to come in and save our season, after Favre is benched for throwing pick after pick.

    The latest update on ESPN seems to think its a schism between those that want Tjack and those that want Sage. Favre probably has nothing to do with the start of the schism but could have something to do with it ending.

    If I were a leader, I would show up for training camp take charge. I would work for and earn the respect of my team mates. If I were a primadonna I would weasel around and by-pass training camp and smooth it over by autographing some T-shirts for my team mates.

    The best way to screw up a team is to be inconsistent in the way you treat your players.

    The Vikes have a good looking team. They would be good with Jackson or Sage. Will they really be that much better with an aging Farve?
