Probably four of the five best teams in baseball are in the NL so I really don't get where HiltonMagic is coming from...

In the 251 Interleague games that dotted the Major League schedule in two stints (May 22-24 and June 12-28), the American League went 137-114 (.546) and nine of the 14 AL clubs had winning records. The 2009 season marked the sixth straight campaign in which the AL won the season series, extending its all-time Interleague lead to 1,673-1,534 (.522).

or the fact that the AL hasn't lost an all-star game since 1996.
or the fact that Smoltz can go from sucking *** in the AL to being great in the NL?
or the fact that the only teams interested in a ****** pitcher like Penny are NL teams, where he'll probably dominate.

or the fact that Smoltz can go from sucking *** in the AL to being great in the NL? If you knew ANYTHING about baseball, you would have seen that he was actually PITCHING BETTER. Remember, he also got rocked by the NATIONALS while playing for the Red Sox. Last I knew they were in the NL.
or the fact that the only teams interested in a ****** pitcher like Penny are NL teams, where he'll probably dominate. Are the Twins in the NL? There aren't many NL teams interested in Penny and he certainly didn't dominate last year with the Dodgers. Is .522 even a valid argument?

National League playoff contenders San Francisco and Florida have expressed interest in the veteran right-hander, sources said.
it might make sense for him at this point to go to the National League -- as it has helped Cliff Lee and John Smoltz, who both moved from the AL to the NL in the last month.
