Some guys just don't get it...I am sure there is blame to be laid in many places on this subject! The athlete must know it is going to harm him most in terms of bad publicity!
the thing of it is, unless he gets some sort of suspension without pay for an extended period of time, then no lesson will be learned.
Like it or not, the power to be an ******* is sometimes the only recourse for a player. Their contract isn't worth the paper it's written on to the team. They can terminate it at any time, but if a player is unsatisfied, there's not a lot they can do but hold out. Now, Marshall is taking this to a dramatic extreme, and is definitely going too far, but really all he is doing is pointing out a hole in the system.
