    LA was probably not the place to head for a ring. Two months ago I'da said good move, but they haven't been world beaters lately.

    LA = 14-13 in August. Not a good time to start slipping...

    Looking back a little further...since July, they've been playing a tick above .500 baseball.

    What is the purpose of the trading deadline when you can still trade afterwards? No team every puts in to stop a trade after the deadline anyways..
