    Pick the NFL game you want to watch.

    For you football fans out there, I just wanted to let you know that FOX 17 is offering a cool opportunity for fans to pick which NFL game they would like to watch on Sundays.

    There are two ways to pick each week. You can text "NFL" to 84126 or go to kdsm.com under the sports page and select which game you want. Match up with the highest vote total will air.

    This weeks choices are:
    Eagles vs. Panthers
    Cowboys vs. Buccaneers
    Vikings vs. Browns
    Lions vs. Saints

    Finally...Go State!!!!!!!

    Cool. I voted for Cowboys vs. Buccaneers. More people should be exposed to the Cowboys. They are America's Team after all.

    Also, I agree with the poster who said those games weren't very good.

    I think this is a great idea by Fox. It gets old seeing the Bears, Packers, and Vikings.

    These are the 4 match ups the NFL makes available for the Des Moines area in week 1. If you look at the NFL schedule on the kdsm.com website, you can see the next 9 weeks of match ups available to pick from.

    exactly. The NFL isn't stupid. They are only going to make available the games that have the best chance of being watched in a particular area. Whether or not you like the NFC North or Kansas City, those are the demographics that play the best in the Des Moines area. If you really want to watch something else, Sunday Ticket is pretty much your only option.
