It just dawned on my that the White Sox and Cubs are playing right now! A month ago I was so excited for this one game in September...sigh!

My wife is at the game today. It definitely isn't generating the excitement it did a couple of months ago.

Me too! But I forgot it was on until a little bit ago! Just a few weeks ago I would have been excited about the game last night before falling asleep!

I agree. However, no matter what the score or how sucky the teams, I still like listening to a good ole fashioned Ron Santo meltdown...

Total gaff by Soriano, dropped fly cost 2 runs. Brenley REALLY reamed him for being a poor defensive player and not hitting. He would have him sitting if he were the manager, no doubt. 3-0 sox in 8th

Soriano seriously needs to be benched!! I haven't thrown in the towel for the season yet but he is doing nothing well. I don't know if its his knee or whatever, i don't care... he's just not producing!

Not to mention he came up with a runner on 3rd and only 1 out and struck out. Next time up he had a runner on 2nd and no outs and guess what... he struck out again. God, he's frustrating!! Put the ball in play and give your team a chance.
