Were playin ok, a couple hiccups by the back line but... other than that we've had opportunities. Just got to capitalize
Our central midfield was invisible in the first half.
The fourth place team from this group goes into a 2-game playoff with a team from another region for a spot in the WC, right?
Thats the kind of game the USA has to avoid, the home and home series on two continents are ridiculous.

It's a two game/cumulative score playoff. I'm not sure if they use the away goal tiebreaker.
Yeah they use the tie break on away goals it is played with standard FIFA rules
back line is clueless most of the time and absent the other... very frustrating. seems like the midfield losses its way.... offensive creativity is fun to watch. Past that, this team, under this coach won't make it out of the WC round robin.

The 6 points in the last week are the reason they will qualify for the WC. We were also very lucky to avoid yellows tonight.
I think they have a chance to do fairly well in the WC, we will be able to tell a lot by the group we have. We could advance in a tough group or get knocked out in an eazy group, it all depends on which team decides to show up... The one who beat spain or the one who lost to costa rica
Salvador took down Costa Rica late. All we need in the last two games is 2 points.
The clinching scenarios for USA (if I am doing the math right) with two games to go (just one of the four need to happen):
1. Beat Hondoras in the next game - on the road
2. Costa Rica loses their next game - vs T&T
3. Both teams (USA and CR) tie in their next game.
4. Tie the last game vs Costa Rica. Even if everything goes wrong in the next round, a tie in the last game will clinch.
