    i'm not completely sure, but i thought that the af1 and af2 were going to combine into one league. they were going to get rid of the unprofitable teams in both leagues and combine the ones that made some money. i just hope they learned from the defunct league and not pay players more money then the team can make, and all the other stupid financial ideas that ruined the af1 league. arena football in des moines is an awesome thing and needs to be supported.

    Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

    ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Which means you can probably kiss the Quad City Steamwheelers goodbye. Quite possibly the most dominant team ever to play in any two year stretch - lost only one game over the first two years of the league and defeated one team 103-3 and another team 87-7...

    Yes, and the team was placed on probation there after for violating league rules during those two years.
    The campaign starts now. November 6, 2012.
