I like the comment at the bottom! Is Bob Sanders made of balsa wood?
Haha, that is funny.
Everyone talks about how hard the guy hits but he will never play that much in the NFL. Dude has nothing on John Lynch, remember how hard he used to hit?
Examiner - Colts president Bill Polian says that safety Bob Sanders will almost certainly return to the team next season.
Sanders was placed on the injured reserve last week, but Polian attributes his injury history to bad luck.
"This is simply bad luck," Polian said Monday on his radio show.
"He is no different a player – and I think everybody saw that in the couple of games he played this year – than when he was Defensive Player of the Year in the NFL [in 2007]. He's just had a lot of tough luck with injury. We have invested a lot of money in him and I see no reason why we would – assuming this next procedure goes as expected and there are no complications and the knee continues to improve as it has – I wouldn't see why we would not bring him back. That, to me, just seems to be foolish."
Its too bad but this guy probably won't last more than a couple more years, when healthy he's as good as they come but that doesn't mean much when he's on the IR.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan.
I think I saw on the bottom line on ESPN that he's played something like 47 of a possible 96 games in his career. Or that will be the stats after this season. I just caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye...
I don't understand what can cause someone to be hurt this much. Brett Favre has played 14,000 straight games, and this guy can't go 2 games without being hurt. Maybe he is just too small...
