Holmgren interested in Browns job
Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mike Holmgren told a Seattle radio station that he'd love to talk to the Browns about a role with the franchise.
He said he hasn't spoken with Cleveland owner Randy Lerner yet, but he hopes rumors of their interest are true.
Holmgren added that he's attracted to rebuilding projects.
Re: Holmgren interested in Browns job
Mike Holmgren has declined the senior leadership position with the Seahawks.
Holmgren met with the Seahawks and there was reportedly a deal on the table that would have given him final say on any football-related matter. He decided to move on and the "Big Show" takes another step toward Cleveland. With the Browns, Holmgren would report directly to owner Randy Lerner and the money will likely be significantly higher.
