Lincecum wants 1 year deal
San Francisco Chronicle - Tim Lincecum is looking to sign a one-year deal with the Giants.
The back-to-back Cy Young winner is eligible for arbitration for the first time in his young career.
Lincecum earned $650,000 in 2009.
"As of today, we'll pursue a one-year deal," his agent, Rick Thurman, told the San Francisco Chronicle.
A long-term deal with increasing salaries often has a low salary in the first year. Lincecum's camp is trying to take full advantage of the arbitration system.
Anyone think that he want's out of San Fran?

I wonder if they will try to break the arbitration record and ask for 23 million plus. This year
