Nets fire Lawrence Frank
Sounds like he is fired, immediately.
Kind of a shame they didn't at least give him a shot at the record. He's only one loss away.

Meanwhile he's thinking, thank god they didn't give me a shot at the record.

Re: Nets fire Lawrence Frank
At what point is a teams "start" over with? If the Nets lose their first 53 games, would the media say that no team in NBA history has ever started a season by losing their first 53 games? At that point, they would only have 29 games left.
When the Patriots ran the table a couple of years ago, they were having the "best start" in team history all the way up to the end of the season.

You may be ruining my other question, unposted until now:
Is it possible for the Nets to set up a game with Iowa, just to feel better? -

I'm surprised he didn't just resign.

They should have never fired Byron Scott back a few years ago. They had been a contender in the east under him and apparently that wasn't good enough.

Nets already down 57-30 to the Lakers and its not even halftime yet. 0-17 is pretty much a lock now.
