NFC title game likely to be played indoors
Arizona sits at 7-4, no way they will be one of the top 2 teams...but granted they are basically indoors. Dallas sits at 8-3 and again, with their upcoming schedule I highly doubt they'd get a bye - they'll be lucky to even make the playoffs with their schizophrenic offense and remaining games. But again, they're basically an indoor facility now. Philly is 7-4 and I can't see them getting the bye.
Most likely New Orleans and Minnesota will get those first round byes. At worst after tonight, both will have 2 game leads on Dallas. New Orleans can increase that when they play Dallas in a few weeks.
IMO, this really benefits Brees and Favre. I see no way that one of those teams isn't hosting the NFC title game and quite likely they'll be facing one another. Anything can happen and I'd love Dallas to be there at the end, but these two teams are just that much better than anyone else in the conference.

Agreed. Both teams seem like the best by a wide margin. Vikings have not played anybody yet this season and have toyed with the last couple teams they have played.
Saints just keep winning even when they get down.

My guess is that the AFC title game will also be played indoors. I do get your point tho...

Possibly but between the Benals likely winning the North, Pats the East and Chargers the West the odds are only there if Indy manages to actually do something in the playoffs.

Right. Indy's track record of losing early in the playoffs is well documented. I hope it doesn't happen. A big test for them this weekend against the Titans (playing like a top 5 team right now).
And as of right now, I think the Chargers are playing in the AFC title, they're dismantling people right now and have won 5 or 6 straight.

Instead of calling it football, might as well call it pussyball. Indoor football is for the cocktail and weenie set.
