Fantasy Football questions....
So...
This upcoming weekend is the "Super Bowl" of our league, and I need a bit of help with my lineup.
I'm pretty well set with most of my positions (P. Manning, Chris Johnson and Ricky Williams as my RB's, Fred Davis for TE, Vikings D/ST).
I'm undecided about the last two spots. We have to start at least one wide receiver and then the last spot can be either a RB or a WR (flex player).
For wide receivers, who do I start between Steve Smith of the Giants, Robert Meachem, Dwayne Bowe, and Percy Harvin? Match-up wise, Bowe will be playing against the worst pass defense, but the other three are all playing well, and Harvin had his best game of the season so far against the Bears in Minneapolis.
As for the last spot (the 'flex' spot), right now I'm leaning towards starting Micheal Bush, RB for the Raiders. He has a good matchup against the pathetic Browns run defense. Would you stick with him or would I be better off starting a 2nd WR from the above group?
Thanks in advance for any advice or help you all may be able to give. Lots of money, and more importantly, bragging rights are at stake.

I see the Saints getting up early and then turning to their running game. Same with Minny. I don't trust Bowe and I like Cincy's D. So Smith it is.
As for your flex, I would probably stick with Bush, because that matchup is sweet. But is that a run by commitee deal? I guess I don't know, but that could be a turn-off.
Also, I think I will post my own Fantasy predicament. I need 3 out of Rice vs. Pitt, Benson vs. KC, Wells vs. StL, Stewart vs. NYG, and Harrison vs. Oak. And I need 1 out of Sims-Walker vs. NE and White vs. Buf. Help anyone?

Re: Fantasy Football questions....
I like Percy Harvin and Steve Smith....
I always go with the team/players that have something to prove and need the Win.
Eli has been on fire and the NYG can not afford a loss, Smith is one of his go to guys.
Favre wants to get back on track, and his ego wants to prove Chilly wrong (imo).
Oakland Raiders way to inconsistent, Bowe has been a bust (imo)....
Good Luck

Re: Fantasy Football questions....
Ok, I'll throw one out there: Eli or Peyton Manning?
I started Peyton last week and thankfully he played the whole game and was very productive. This week I am still planning on Peyton, but this is for the championship. Good to get more input. Both have tough matchups, at least if the Carolina D plays like last week.

Re: Fantasy Football questions....
I'm worried about starting P. Manning and Wayne. Do I stick in Flacco and bush(flex) instead?

Giants are still fighting for their playoff lives. Peyton not so much. And plus, Peyton is facing Revis and a tough Jets D...

As for Manning or Flacco, I'm not sure. I have a feeling the Ravens-Steelers game is going to turn into the Ray Rice show, which would be bad for Flacco. But Manning has a tough matchup. I give a slight nod to Flacco.

Good Luck
as a smith owner, he has been playing very poorly once defenses started targeting him..
reality, i think all of them are going to have bad games
favre is going to play in extremely crappy weather, there will be no reason to pass the ball down anywhere with AP at helm. Plus favre is old and it was already showing in his last year in GB that the wind & cold essentially destroyed his body.
meachem i think will do decent, but keep in mind they are playing the bucs, i expect a full onslaught of passes going to henderson for the deep ball.
bowe, well, unfortunately he is the only weapon on a team which means he will be a marked man.
that being said, if i were you i would put harvin and meachem.
unfortunately that bs lateral to boldin costed me my final run. Jesus ****** has warner upset me this entire season

carolina has the best past D in the league, i automatically bench whoever i have against them

think about it this way, Matt ryan was the only qb to throw 3 tds against them with 1 int, mcnabb had 2 tds 1 int , warner 2 tds but 5 int, brees, brady at best had a 1 td:1 int ratio
and after looking at the jets schedule, do you realize how soft their opposing qbs are? only 2 are noteworthy are schaub and brady, and even brady scorched them the second time around.
Now, will the jets stop wayne? probably so, but will they stop clark, collie, and addai with that? highly doubt it

Sanchez has thrown 2 more interceptions then Delhomme.

Sanchez has thrown 2 more interceptions then Delhomme. also skewed, sanchez also played 3 more games.
edit: compare the schedule of who they had to face side by side, you will quickly realize panthers are the dominant passing defense. Reevis might be amazing, but he is only one man

Re: Fantasy Football questions....
The tough part about it is whether Peyton will play a full game. They do have the benefit of playing to go undefeated, but you just never know if they'll take any chances with him, or if he'll play a full game.
As luck would have it, none of my best players have a playoff locked up yet.
